Contracts and data protection

One main focus of our consulting activity is the drafting and ongoing optimisation of individual contracts of all kinds as well as of general terms and conditions (GTC). Our contracts and GTC are custom tailored taking into account the specific needs of our clients on the one hand and the requirements of company law, consumer protection law, e-commerce law as well as industry-specific regulations on the other hand. In terms of labour and social law, we service employers and employees alike (managers and staff) concerning the establishment, amendment and termination of employment contracts. Many years of experience in litigation enable us to set up contracts in such a diligent and sustainable manner that potential causes for legal disputes are detected and prevented in advance.

We support businesses in complying with data protection regulations (notably the GDPR) on an ongoing basis; this includes the detection of responsibilities (e.g. requirement to establish a data protection officer, identification of sensitive data), the creation of necessary documentation (data protection declaration, data protection policy, template for data breach notice, records of processing activities, data protection impact assessment) as well as the drawing-up of necessary contracts (declarations of consent, commissioned data processing contracts, company agreements). We also gladly coach our clients’ employees (e.g. the data protection officer) personally in data protection matters.
